The song was made in FL Studio 2025, using Native Instruments Absynth5, and Serum 2. A lot of use with Air FilterGate.
As I work towards finalizing an upcoming 'Hard Trip' EP, these are tracks that get thrown together and decided if they fit the EP, or work as singles. This one fits as a single more so than a track on the upcoming EP.

This was a weird fuck around song that started with me simply screwing around with samples of grunts and a kinda pointless VST called 'I Wish'.
It spurred off into just me throwing simple 4 on the floor just as a metronome as worked on some rythmic grunting. It had no direction, it really still doesn't, to be honest. At some point I tried experimenting upwards of 220 bpm, and found it fit better at 186.
At first, this was potentially going to turn into a HPS song, which I've written a few in the last few months, but it morphed into something more post punk-ish. I wanted vocals on it, but the few parts I recorded I just didn't like. It still could use some though.

Obloquy started as something entirely different. It finalized into a slow funky drone tune that got stuck in my head pretty easily.

After dealing with a lot of mental health issues, it finally happened where my doctors found something to put me on that actually helped, and one of the effects of these new meds was it no longer felt like a job I hated doing just to make music. Within the first month of being newly medicated, I was writing at least one new song a week.

Sighted started off as just making some bass drums for use in other songs, and quickly made its way into being a full length song.
It kicked off the interest in a new Hard Trip ep, that I decided is slated for release in 2026. Few new tracks are being written to accompany this one.
